Tim is a self-taught artist who instinctively began to draw about fourteen years ago, during a period of depression.  His focus is on exploration and processing, rather than technique or outcome.  Tim works almost exclusively on faces and figures. He draws on found paper (bags, cereal boxes, newspaper, etc) and art paper, using soft pastels, oil pastels and crayon.  Each work is a spontaneous outpouring of colors and emotions.
